Missed Dose

Temovate is not expected to cause any serious systemic adverse effects unless large amounts of it have been used for a long period of time. If the body absorbs the medicine, you may develop blurred vision, halos around lights, an irregular heartbeat, insomnia, mood changes, weight gain, or fatigue.Inform your doctor in case you develop any of the above-mentioned side effects or in case you experience any other unusual adverse reactions. You may also experience some other less serious side effect including redness, blistering, burning, itching, or peeling. Inform your doctor but do not discontinue the usage of Temovate. You may also develop some local side effects, especially if you are using Temovate for a long time. Among them are thinning of the skin, prolonged redness, and stretch marks. Storage

Temovate should be stored at a room temperature. Protect it from excessive heat and moisture (do not store it in the bathroom). Keep the medicine in its original tightly-closed container. Keep Temovate away from children. You should throw out any outdated or unneeded medicine.

Overdose

If Temovate is absorbed into the bloodstream it may cause disorders like Cushing's syndrome. Immediately search for medical help in case you suspect an overdose.

More Information

You should not use plastic bandages, dressing or diapers which will prevent the air circulation in the treated areas, unless your doctor advised you to do so. Occlusive dressing may enhance the amount of the medicine absorbed by the body. However, in case you use such occlusive dressing, you should not keep it for more than 12 hours a day. You should not use other topical products on the areas treated with Temovate unless your doctor told you to do so.
